We were asked to advise on the various stone finishes for much of the work at Bush House. JRA were the architects and we worked closely with the stone contractor, Stone & Ceramic, with the supply of the stone elements. After a lot of deliberation the beautiful original travertine floors were restored and retained and look fantastic today. To complement the restoration the architect chose some exceptionally nice Silver Travertine from Rapolano. Large cut to size 30mm thick, honed and colour resin filled. This was the original and real Silver Travertine.
For other areas we supplied Colombino Sandstone from Il Casone in Firenzuola. This sandstone a darker richer take on the hues and features of the well known Pietra Serena sandstone.
