Recently, after liaising for some time with both the architect and contractor we received an order to supply 1000sqm hard limestone for Harrods, Knightsbridge. We had to carry out extensive testing of the chosen material and subsequently ensure careful selection of the right blocks for this very prestigious project. The limestone was extracted from a very specific part of the quarry where the hardest and cleanest material is found. The test results on the actual material procured for the project have shown that this is a phenomenally hard stone as is necessary for what are very heavily trafficked areas. We are supplying both 800x800x30mm and 600x600x20mm tiles for two areas. See here the mock up for the 800x800mm tiles viewed a week ago.
