Olivers Yard Travertine Noce

A few months ago I visited our Travertine supplier in Tuscany to inspect a block of Travertine Noce (Walnut) for a project we were to supply. We needed 300sqm 30mm Travertine cladding for a prestigious office refurbishment in London. The brief from the architect was the material had to be Italian Noce from Rome and for the Travertine to exhibit strong linear veining/strata.
Our Travertine ‘quarry man’ selected a couple of blocks he thought would fit the bill and they certainly fitted the bill. We measured the block and worked out the best way these blocks could be used to best effect in the space. A few weeks back I went back to look at the production and the project is now on site. We worked with a three different heights (250/500/750mm) of panel and a standard length 1500mm. I look forward to seeing the results this dramatic Noce Travertine should look stunning.
