Supplying the feature walls for washrooms of a prestigious hotel was an exceptionally tricky affair. The finishing of the Pietra Forte slabs involved a waterjet machine to apply the linear pattern to the surface.
Then the slabs needed to be lightly honed to soften the effect, smooth the surface and give the desired result. It required a deft touch as the margins of error whereby you hone too much or not enough were very small. So we were very happy to get the finish perfected, pieces cut and edges mitred. Then everything was packed, loaded and shipped just in time to make the designated vessel.
