We were asked to identify and source a white veincut stone from a small hand sample for a large entrance lobby and reception desk. We quickly identified the stone as Bianco Dolomiti, a white dolomitic marble from Turkey.

The required selection was tight and very difficult to achieve but with our previous experience with the stone and contacts in the region we found the best quarry to deliver what we needed. Initially after preparing a detailed report with high res slab images from our partners in Turkey we shipped a small mock up to drylay on site. From here we fine tuned the selection to be in line with the clients requirements. 

The tight selection was incredibly challenging and with a tight programme in which to deliver. Prior to delivery to site we further selected and dry laid the full lobby at our Inspection Hub ensuring the best possible result with the best tiles used in priority areas and any tiles with less desirable characteristics used for perimeter cuts.
