Light Is Critical
Our inspection hub is where we measure up, create full dry-lays, and check that consignments travelled intact. Its even natural light and dry conditions matter, because the same stone viewed somewhere hot and sunny, or under factory lights or London’s skies, will seem like three different types. Likewise stone seen wet is a world away from the same stone when dry.
Surprise Happens
Stone is fascinating stuff. And as it's a natural element, things can sometimes get interesting. Even tiles cut from the same slab and laid side by side can produce unexpected results. But we’re not complaining; the unpredictable is what makes this industry so exhilarating. We just know our clients like to know what they're getting.

Installation is often faster if a full dry-lay is carried out first. A dry-lay flags up any quality issues as well as giving a better feel for the aesthetic. Ask us about dry-lays or simply viewing stones in our inspection hub.
