Verona Cream Inspection - Fetter Lane

June 10th, 2011 in Case Studies, Factory Visits

Here are some shots of the mock up and production viewed this week in Verona, Italy for Fetter Lane, a TP Bennett specification. The Verona Cream was stunning and as you can see very white with minimal movement. The tolerance in cutting was within a millimetre as we expect and across the diagonal was tenths of a millimetre. Edges crisp and clean. Packing good too. All 12 polishing heads were used to ensure a good honed surface on what is an exceptionally hard limestone. The selection of this limestone does mean that only a small percentage of the production is this clean however the remainder of the slabs not used are used for other projects and supply local demand in Montenegro.
